On 22 November 2019, the annual celebration of the Elite Graduate Program “Software Engineering” took place in the IHK Schwaben. For the about 150 guests, the program consisted of talks, project presentations of the graduates and the occasion to network at a buffet dinner.
As part of the celebration, the graduates of the 12th year of the Elite Graduate Program "Software Engineering" said farewell. The 12th year counted 17 students. In addition, 19 new students were welcomed, who commenced their studies as the 14th year in October. With an entertaining retrospect on two years of master studies, joint projects and terms abroad, the graduates took their leave. Following this, the students presented the results of some project works of the program.
The official talk of this evening was given by Julia Kindelsberger, herself a graduate of the Elite Graduate Program and now project manager with Oracle Labs in Zurich. She talked about examples of successful start-ups within Oracle Labs, to which students of the Elite Graduate Program have contributed. The festivity was accompanied by a string quartet consisting of students of the Leopold Mozart Centre of the University of Augsburg.
