"You're simply the best" - Graduation Ceremony of the Elite Network 2024

Minister of Science Markus Blume congratulates all graduates of the year 2024 in the Elite Network of Bavaria at a festive ceremony. 600 guests came to the Marinaforum in Regensburg in December 2024 to celebrate the successful completion of their studies or doctorates.

20 years of the Elite Network of Bavaria - Anniversary celebration on 3 May 2024

The Free State of Bavaria has been supporting young talents in science for 20 years through the Elite Network. Members and supporters of the network celebrated this exemplary model of state support for talented students in May 2024 at the Munich Residence. Highlights of the event included a speech by Minister of State Markus Blume, a keynote speech by Prof. Michael Hoch, President of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, a lounge conversation with members of the Elite Network of Bavaria, the release of the Elite Network's new corporate video and a showroom on 20 years of successful support for gifted students in Bavaria.

Get Together for new members of the Elite Network 2023

Over 300 curious newcomers to the Elite Network came to the TU Audimax on the afternoon of 11 November 2023. The annual Get Togethers offered new members the opportunity to get to know the Elite Network and make their first contacts. In addition to short presentations on the opprtunites and events offered by the Elite Network of Bavaria, there were also plenty of culinary delights on offer.

Graduation Ceremony 2022

The Elite Network of Bavaria congratulates all graduates of the year 2022: In a festive setting the graduation ceremony of the Elite Network of Bavaria took place in December 2022 in the Congress Hall in Augsburg. More than 400 guests watched the awarding of certificates by Minister of State Markus Blume and the evening performance by cabaret artist Vince Ebert. At the subsequent evening buffet, the successful completion of studies or doctorates in the Elite Network of Bavaria was celebrated in high spirits.

Slowly the festively decorated congress hall fills up with expectant graduates and their accompanying persons.

The more than 400 guests are eagerly awaiting the start of the certificate ceremony.

After a welcoming speech, Minister of State Markus Blume congratulates each of the approximately 200 present graduates personally and presents them with the certificate of the Elite Network of Bavaria.

At the Elite-Cup, football teams from our various funding lines compete for the prized trophy. The tournament also offers an excellent opportunity to catch up with old friends – and make new ones, too.

The Elite Network of Bavaria, founded by the Free State of Bavaria in 2004, looked back on its fifteen-year success story with a ceremony on 17 May 2019 in the Max-Joseph-Saal of the Munich Residenz. The Elite Network of Bavaria supports outstanding young scientific talent from all over the world with its funding programmes.
