Nature and sustainability in the far north

Back Office Volunteers at IPBES 9 in Bonn
Professors and Master students of the Elite Graduate Program “Global Change Ecology“ at the University of Bayreuth participated in the week-long IPBES 9 meeting in Bonn - either as observers of the conference or as volunteers with the IPBES secretariat - and took part in discussion on numerous topics.

Networking opportunities in Bamberg
The Max Weber Program had to cancel its summer party two years in a row due to the coronavirus pandemic. On June 26, 2022 it was finally possible to meet again. Scholarship holders from all over Bavaria accepted the invitation to the Max Weber summer party in the conference hall in Bamberg.

Picturing the Invisible
Artists have made the invisible visible for the double award-winning exhibition "Picturing the Invisible". Their work shows the consequences of the great earthquake disaster in eastern Japan in the Fukushima region. In terms of organization and content, the exhibition was co-supervised by students of the Elite Graduate Program RESET.
