Learning from visionaries and networking
“I recently attended the Munich Management Colloquium 2025 together with a small group of ten members and alumni of the Elite Network of Bavaria. Even before the event began, we met up to exchange ideas and get in the mood, which created a great sense of community that deepened during the event.
The content of MMK25 was diverse and inspiring - with a clear focus on inventiveness, entrepreneurship, sustainability and the opportunities presented by technologies such as AI. I was particularly impressed by the appeal to make our strengths in Germany and Europe more visible and to make bold use of our potential. We have all the prerequisites for this, and this was made clear time and again by numerous motivating presentations and discussions.
Connecting science, business and politics
The speakers at MMK25 were high-caliber and came from both academia and industry. Their contributions were characterized by great expertise and deep insights, which provided us participants with valuable impulses. The atmosphere was open, honest and vibrant, which was particularly evident in the sometimes controversial presentations and lively discussions. This open culture of exchange made the event not only interesting, but also very authentic.
It was impressively clear how well the networking and interlinking of science, business and politics works in Munich and Bavaria. As a group of ten members and alumni of the Elite Network of Bavaria, we were able to regularly exchange ideas and share our impressions. I found the opportunity to repeatedly reflect together and critically discuss controversial points of view particularly valuable.
The message I take away with me is clear: we should be even more self-confident and active in shaping our potential in Germany and Europe and making it visible. The MMK25 showed impressively how many great opportunities are available to us - we just have to seize them courageously.”
