„You’re simply the best“ - Graduation ceremony of the Elite Network 2024

From 3 p.m., the ele­gant Marinaform began to fill up with the equal­ly ele­gant grad­uates of the Elite Net­work and their com­pan­ions. Over wel­come drinks and stimu­lating con­versa­tions, the guests looked for­ward to the up­com­ing fes­tive event. The cere­mony marks the transi­tion from aca­demic train­ing to career for many net­work mem­bers and also hon­ors the mem­bers for their achievements dur­ing their stud­ies.

“You’re simp­ly the best” - With these words, Min­ister of State Markus Blume then con­gratu­lated the approximately 300 grad­uates on the stage of the fes­tive hall. He em­phasized that their grad­uation in the Elite Net­work, the “smartest club in Ba­var­ia”, had equipped them in a spe­cial way for the chal­lenges of the fu­ture. "We have huge tasks ahead of us for which there are no ready-made an­swers. We need the brightest minds in the coun­try and the best ideas to mas­ter these trans­for­mations. That is why we are count­ing on you and, as the Free State of Ba­varia, are trying to keep this soil fer­tile", said Markus Blume.

The Minis­ter of Sci­ence then took the op­por­tunity to per­sonal­ly con­gratu­late the grad­uates on stage. The awards were ac­com­panied by hearty ap­plause.

An­other high­light of the event was the enter­taining key­note speech by Mr. Mark T. Hof­mann on the topic of “Pro­filing: read­ing peo­ple and con­vincing them”. He re­vealed simple and useful tricks to iden­tify peo­ple's true mo­tives based on simple clues, to rec­og­nize lies and to ap­pear more con­vincing. The music of the Mu­nich band Aza's Lounge, led by singer Ari­ane Roth, ac­com­panied the cele­bra­tion and creat­ed a great at­mosphere with clas­sics such as “What a won­derful World” and “You've got a friend”.

The grad­uation cere­mony not only of­fered the op­por­tunity to cele­brate suc­cess­es, but also to make con­tacts and ex­change ide­as with other mem­bers of the Elite Net­work. This was followed by a reception and buffet, where guests had the opportunity to mingle and toast their graduation in a relaxed atmosphere.
