237 scholarship holders registered for this year’s summer party in Bamberg on June 26. It was a perfect summer’s day with an exciting program. After two long years with online meetings, scholarship holders finally had the chance to meet old acquaintances face to face and to get to know new members of the Max Weber Program.
Lectures and presentations about this year’s topic “True/False: What can we know?”, diverting music by participants of the MWP music days and a joint meal prepared the participants for the varied afternoon program. Different tours offered interesting insights in must see places of the UNESCO word heritage sight, such as the seven hills of the “Franconian Rome” or the Felsenkeller Bamberg. Others items on the agenda included literature and art in Bamberg as well as action painting and a duck race in the river Pegnitz. A relaxed picnic in the ERBA-Park with regional specialties complet-ed this unforgettable networking event.
