At the AI Camp, the Ger­man Asso­cia­tion of Com­puter Sci­ence hon­ored ten young re­searchers with the AI-Newcomer Award 2023. Nora Gourmel­on, who is part of the Inter­na­tional Doc­torate Pro­gram "M³OCCA", is one of the awardees.

The Elite Grad­uate Pro­gram “Ba­varian Grad­uate School of Com­puta­tional Engi­neer­ing“ awarded the 9th Stu­dent Paper Prize at the in­tertnational SIAM CS&E 23 con­fer­ence to Shane McQuarrie of the Uni­versi­ty of Texas at Aus­tin.

The Ba­varian Grad­uate School of Com­puta­tional Engi­neer­ing pro­gram holds its yearly open­ing week­end in an in-pres­ence meet­ing for 2023; wel­com­ing the in­com­ing batch with team-building and shared ex­peri­ences by the sen­iors and alum­ni.

Teacher trainees of the Elite Grad­uate Pro­gram “MINT-Leh­ramt PLUS” vis­ited muse­ums, stu­dent labs, and out-of-school learn­ing sites that can enrich school les­sons. Workshops pro­vided new ideas for diffi­cult parent con­versa­tions and stu­dent-centered les­sons.

The stu­dents of the Elite Grad­uate Pro­gram "Inte­grated Im­munology" used their chance to partic­ipate in the Euro­pean Phag­ocyte Workshop 2023 to get a first im­pres­sion of inter­na­tional con­gress­es in the scien­tific field and ex­pand their knowledge around phag­ocytes.

With its FO­RUM event at TU Mu­nich, the Elite Net­work of Ba­varia united the realms of sci­ence and socie­ty to ex­plore the capti­vating and in­credi­bly perti­nent field of neu­rosci­ence.

Stud­ying abroad means great pro­fes­sional as well as per­sonal gain and com­ple­ments do­mes­tic stud­ies in a spe­cial way. That is why the Max We­ber Pro­gram Ba­varia sup­ports its schol­arship hold­ers both finan­cially and non-financial­ly in their plans to study abroad.
