The sec­ond collo­quium of the Inter­na­tional Doc­torate Pro­gram “Re­think­ing Envi­ron­ment” took place in Feb­ruary at the Uni­versi­ty of Augsburg and at LMU Mu­nich. Dur­ing the event, doc­toral stu­dents pre­sent­ed their re­search pro­gress to the team of peers and advi­sors.

PhD Workshop on the Zugspitze (Schneefernerhaus)
From 30 to 31 Janu­ary, the PhD group of the Inter­na­tional Doc­torate Pro­gram "Re­think­ing Envi­ron­ment" par­tici­pated in a work­shop in Ger­many’s high­est envi­ron­men­tal re­search sta­tion, the ‘Schneef­erner­haus’. Lo­cated just below the Zug­spitze plat­eau, the for­mer hotel is now a cen­tral insti­tution for cli­mate re­search.

Max We­ber Pro­gram cele­brates New Year's Re­cep­tion 2023
Near­ly 300 schol­arship hold­ers and alum­ni gath­ered for the Max We­ber Pro­gram's New Year's Re­cep­tion in the Mu­nich Resi­dence at the end of Janu­ary. The Max We­ber Pro­gram, which is run in coop­era­tion with the Ger­man Aca­demic Scholarship Foun­da­tion, is an im­portant part of the pro­mo­tion of gifted stu­dents in Ba­varia.
