Summer school in Quantum Computing
The stu­dents spent a week work­ing on quan­tum com­puting. In addi­tion to lec­tures by ex­perts in the field on theo­reti­cal prin­ciples and ex­peri­men­tal reali­sa­tion, there were also nu­mer­ous tasks to com­plete in small groups.

Internship in Climate Research
In the sec­ond half of 2021, San­dra Zim­mer­mann, a stu­dent in the Elite Grad­uate Pro­gram “Global Change Ecol­ogy” of the Elite Net­work of Ba­varia, com­pleted a six-month in­tern­ship at the Ger­man Socie­ty for Inter­na­tional Co­opera­tion (GIZ) in the pro­ject area Cli­mate.

Warm and open atmosphere
Due to the ongo­ing pan­dem­ic, the "Max We­ber-Abend" took place online once again. More than 200 grant­ees at­tend­ed the wel­com­ing event to find out more about the pro­gram and to get to know their re­gional groups.
