Students from the Elite Graduate Program “Responsibility in Science, Engineering and Technology” (M.A. RESET) took part in a workshop organized by the Centre for Science and Policy at the University of Cambridge.

At the start of a new se­mes­ter that once more will have to rely on online learn­ing and will pro­vide only few occa­sions of direct face to face social inter­ac­tions, stu­dents in of the TMP mas­ter pro­gram gather for an online work­shop that pro­vides cop­ing mechanisms for these spe­cial cir­cum­stanc­es.

This year’s topic of our annu­al career day was: A career as neu­rosci­entist in indus­try. The stu­dents of the pre­vious and cur­rent co­hort got in­sights into the activ­ities at dif­ferent com­pa­nies.

The Low­er Fran­coni­an Me­morial Year Foundation for Sci­ence and the Jul­ius-Maximil­ians-Universi­ty of Würzburg have awarded Dr. rer. nat. Luca Ag­netta a doc­torate award in recognition of his out­stand­ing scien­tific work.

35 doctoral students from the universities of Munich, Erlangen-Nuremberg, Regensburg and Berlin took part in the digital summer school "Applied Microeconomics", which was jointly run with the Collaborative Research Centre "Rationality and Competition”.

The students of the Elite Graduate Program "Integrated Immunology" enjoyed a very lively, interesting and application-oriented course in Good Scientific Practice.

A number of classes have successfully completed the international master's degree program "Global Change Ecology" (GCE) since it was founded in 2006. Several GCE alumni report on their time after graduation and give the students tips on the way.

Würzburg students of the elite graduate program "Satellite Technology" use the hands-on character of the program to set up a ground station to receive radio transmissions via the geostationary satellite Es'hail 2 / QO-100.

Professors and students of the Erlangen Elite Graduate Program "Integrated Immunology" are engaged in research and diagnostics in the fight against SARS-CoV-2.

The Max Weber-Program continues its support and program in times of corona. Various digital events and offers are available. Financial aid for a semester abroad is possible on specific conditions.
