The new students get there first impressions
Dur­ing the first week of the se­mes­ter a col­lec­tion of social and in­form­ative events were of­fered to our new stu­dents of the Elite Grad­uate Pro­gram "Bi­omedical Neu­rosci­ence". This in­clud­ed the intro­duc­tion of par­tici­pating insti­tu­tions, a ca­reer day and our joint event called “chemical kitch­en”.

In this semi­nar, the stu­dents had to deal with a wide varie­ty of prob­lems from our indus­trial part­ners. These were solved with the help of math­emat­ical mod­eling and nu­meri­cal math­emat­ics.
