In this prac­tical course, stu­dents im­ple­ment­ed nu­meri­cal algo­rithms for use on su­percomput­ers. The focus was on the anal­ysis of paral­lelism as well as the ap­pro­priate use of mod­ern soft­ware de­velopment tools.

8th BGCE Student Paper Prize
Eight final­ists have com­peted for the 8th BGCE Stu­dent Paper Prize for excel­lent stu­dent work in the field of Com­puta­tional Sci­ence and Engi­neer­ing. The deci­sion was taken at the SIAM CS&E con­fer­ence in early March.
