Warm and open atmosphere
Due to the ongo­ing pan­dem­ic, the "Max We­ber-Abend" took place online once again. More than 200 grant­ees at­tend­ed the wel­com­ing event to find out more about the pro­gram and to get to know their re­gional groups. In par­ticu­lar, the Coordination Office of the Elite Network of Ba­varia, the Max We­ber team and men­tors were pre­sent.

8th BGCE Student Paper Prize
Eight final­ists have com­peted for the 8th BGCE Stu­dent Paper Prize for excel­lent stu­dent work in the field of Com­puta­tional Sci­ence and Engi­neer­ing. The deci­sion was taken at the SIAM CS&E con­fer­ence in early March.
