Welcome to "Macromolecular Science"

Once a year, the Elite Study Program Macromolecular Science invites its new students to an information and welcome event. The students are informed about the tasks, but also about the manifold offers and support possibilities of the program. On the evening of the event, the new students have the opportunity to exchange ideas with current students, alumni and university lecturers.

Getting started

The Elite Graduate Program "Macromolecular Science" has admitted ten new students this year. In this context, Prof. Hans-Werner Schmidt, spokesperson of the Elite Graduate Program, invites the students to an information event once a year.

The students are informed about the contents and tasks, but also about the manifold offers and support possibilities of the program. This also includes the clarification of organizational questions and interesting dates concerning the Elite Graduate Program "Macromolecular Science". In addition, aspects of the strongly interdisciplinary study contents are further presented and discussed.

Get together

At the subsequent welcome event, to which current students, university lecturers and alumni are also invited, the new students have the opportunity to get in touch with others right at the beginning of their study program. After the welcoming and opening of the event by Prof. Hans-Werner Schmidt, the new students introduce themselves personally to the other members of the Elite Study Program Macromolecular Science.

The evening's closing of the meeting is dedicated to the exchange of experiences. Finally, there are many further opportunities to exchange ideas with the students and university lecturers and to talk to the alumni about their careers.
