The participants of the conference

The audience focusing on the conference

Two years ago the inaugural conference of the program had already taken place at this amazing venue. This conference also served as a kick-off for the European Union funded program Immutrain! PD Dr. Sebastian Kobold and Prof. Stefan Endres (Division of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Munich) are respectively scientific coordinator and speaker of both i-Target and Immutrain. In total twenty-three worldwide leading experts have gathered to make these two days inspiring to all of the one-hundred and fifty young scientists who attended the conference. Two years ago, twelve PhD students were giving their first steps in science. During this conference these students have shown that the investment made on them is closer to bearing exciting results as most of them were not only able to show some of their work in the conference, but also lively discuss the future of tumor immunology with the experts that attended the conference.
